Honda Elevate Facelift: New Look, Features, and Price
Honda Elevate Facelift: Design, Features, Engine, and Price Explained
Honda Cars India has officially unveiled the Honda Elevate Facelift and set its launch date for 6 October. Buyers can now book the SUV with a token amount of ₹21,000. Consequently, mid-size SUV buyers are watching the Honda Elevate Facelift closely.
This is the first major mid-life update for the SUV, which was first launched in 2023. The Honda Elevate Facelift draws its design inspiration from the WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept, which Honda showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon. Therefore, we explain every change here from an automobile expert’s point of view.

Why This SUV Matters
Currently, Honda sells roughly 1,200 to 1,600 Elevates per month, based on recent monthly figures. However, in most months, only the Amaze outsells it in Honda’s Indian range. For this reason, the SUV holds real significance for the brand.
Meanwhile, carmakers have introduced facelifts across various segments. Earlier, we covered a similar mid-life facelift in our blog 2026 Škoda Slavia Facelift: Major Changes You Should Know About. Now, here is a brief snapshot of the Honda Elevate Facelift.

Honda Elevate Facelift Exterior Design
The Honda Elevate Facelift gets a more aggressive look. However, the general square-shaped SUV profile stays the same. Some of the front modifications are as follows:
- A gloss-black honeycomb grille now sits at the front.
- The Honda badge moves from the grille to the bonnet.
- A blacked-out version replaces the chrome garnish around the grille.
- The car has dual projector LED headlamps, which have segmented, connected DRLs running down to the grille.
- A redesigned bumper now carries LED fog lamps in new housings.
- Parking sensors also sit at the front of the vehicle.
As far as the side profile is concerned, the SUV gets new 17-inch alloy wheels. The ground clearance stays at 220 mm to ensure that the SUV can negotiate rough roads without any problem. In addition, the vehicle comes with connected LED tail lamps at the rear end. Moreover, a redesigned bumper with four reverse parking sensors sits at the back.

Honda Elevate Facelift Interior and Comfort Features
The SUV offers an upgraded cabin. For instance, the newly designed dashboard features leatherette soft-touch padding. Moreover, Honda has added ambient lights to the doors and dashboard, and the cabin gets a lighter, two-tone theme.
Comfort and convenience equipment details are as follows:
- Ventilated front seats
- Dual-zone automatic climate control (to be confirmed)
- Panoramic sunroof (to be confirmed)
- Rear sunblinds (to be confirmed)
A 10.25-inch touchscreen handles the technology in the Honda Elevate Facelift. Additionally, it supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Besides this, the car also includes a wireless charging pad, an auto-dimming IRVM, and an 8-speaker audio system. However, check the availability of these features variant-wise, because Honda has not yet confirmed the complete equipment list.

Safety and ADAS
Honda clearly focuses on safety in this SUV. Honda Sensing offers Level 2 ADAS. Moreover, a LaneWatch camera sits on the co-driver’s side ORVM, and the SUV now gets a factory-fitted 360-degree camera.
The Honda Elevate Facelift’s safety features should make life easier in traffic. As a result, we expect parking and lane changes in busy cities like Pune and Mumbai to become easier. Honda, however, has not shared the crash-test performance yet. Whenever a rating comes out, you can check it on the Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP website.
Honda Elevate Facelift Engine, Performance and Gearbox
Honda has not made any mechanical changes to the Honda Elevate. The SUV retains the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. A specification summary follows below.
| Specification | Details |
| Engine | 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder NA i-VTEC petrol |
| Power | 121 hp (around 120 bhp) |
| Torque | 145 Nm |
| Transmission | 6-speed MT / 7-step CVT |
| Hybrid | Not offered |
| CNG | No factory option; dealer-fitted kit possible |
The engine i-VTEC is generally supposed to produce smooth and linear power. Hence, urban driving as well as highway driving can be done easily in this car. But there is no provision for a turbo or hybrid model.
This kind of situation has already been discussed in our blog, Maruti Baleno Facelift 2026: Worth The Upgrade?
Mileage and Variants
Honda has not released official mileage figures for the Elevate facelift yet. However, since the engine stays the same, the current model’s ARAI-certified figures give a useful benchmark: 15.31 kmpl for the manual and 16.92 kmpl for the CVT.
Honda has not confirmed the variant details either. It sells the current Elevate in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims, and the facelift will likely follow the same lineup. Some websites also report a possible hybrid version, but Honda has not confirmed this.
Honda Elevate Facelift Price and Rivals
Right now, the Honda Elevate sells for ₹11.81 lakh to ₹16.36 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift’s price isn’t official yet, and every website seems to have its own guess. Most put it somewhere around ₹12 lakh to ₹16.50 lakh, though a few say it could even touch ₹18 lakh. If you want the real number, just check the official Honda Cars India website.
| Model | Ex-showroom Price |
| Current Honda Elevate | ₹11.80 lakh to ₹16.97 lakh |
| Honda Elevate Facelift (expected) | ₹12 lakh to ₹18 lakh (not official) |
The Honda Elevate facelift will face strong competition from the following SUVs:
- Hyundai Creta
- Kia Seltos
- Maruti Grand Vitara / Victoris
- Toyota Hyryder
- Skoda Kushaq
- Volkswagen Taigun
- Tata Sierra / Curvv
- Renault Duster
Among these, our blog “Tata Curvv Series X: Fewer Variants, More Value?” analysed the Tata Curvv and its value story. Therefore, against such feature-rich rivals, the Honda Elevate Facelift must deliver fair value.

Pros and Cons of the Honda Elevate Facelift
Strengths and weaknesses are summarised in the table below.
| Pros | Cons |
| Bolder design with a new grille and LED lighting | No hybrid or turbo option |
| Premium cabin with ventilated seats and ambient lighting | No factory-fitted CNG |
| Level 2 ADAS and 360-degree camera | Claimed mileage figures are modest |
| 220 mm ground clearance and 458-litre boot | Price may rise because of added features |
| Proven i-VTEC engine with MT and CVT choices | Some features are not yet confirmed variant-wise |
Who Should Buy the Honda Elevate Facelift?
The Honda Elevate facelift suits several types of buyers:
- Families who want a feature-loaded SUV with ADAS
- City buyers who prefer a smooth CVT automatic
- Buyers who like a naturally aspirated petrol engine
- Those who need good ground clearance for rough roads
On the other hand, if you want a hybrid, a turbocharged engine, or factory-fitted CNG, look at other alternatives.
Is Honda Leaving India? Rumours and Future Plans
Honda has put the rumours about leaving India to rest and says it will keep doing business here. The Elevate facelift backs that up. Honda also has more models in the pipeline, including the 0 Alpha electric SUV and a possible new WR-V.
MaharashtraViews Opinion on the Honda Elevate Facelift
In our view, Honda has given the Elevate facelift exactly what it needed. The car looks kaafi more stylish and premium now. ADAS, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera are things buyers expect these days, and the Elevate is expected to offer them.
That said, missing out on a hybrid and a turbo option will thoda hurt in this segment. So this facelift suits only buyers who love the smoothness of a naturally aspirated engine and want a long feature list. If mileage is your top priority, take a look at other options too. And make your final decision only after the official prices are out and you have taken a test drive. Ek baar to drive karke dekho.
